Education
- Arizona State University (Online) B.S. Human Systems Engineering (UX Focus)
- Minor: Applied Ethics, Business Path 2024 – Present | Expected 2027
This program focuses on understanding how people interact with systems and how those systems can be designed, evaluated, and improved. My coursework builds a foundation in programming (Java), logic, business ethics, and user-centered design by approaching systems as something that must function clearly for the people using them.
- Lake Land College
- Associate in Liberal Studies
- Graduated August 2021
This stage helped develop foundational thinking skills and introduced structured, systems-level awareness across different areas of study.
Experience
Horizon Hobby — Warehouse Associate
Champaign, IL | June 2021 – Present
- Strong work ethic, adaptability and proven initiative, self-motivated
- Strong problem-solver who thinks critically and communicates clearly
I work within a fast-moving operational system involving shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment. This environment has given me direct exposure to how workflows function under real constraints.
Skills
Systems & Thinking
- Identifying inefficiencies in workflows and processes
- Mapping how systems interact before acting
- Recognizing patterns across people, tools, and processes
Technical Foundations
- Basic programming (Java)
- Logical problem-solving and structured thinking
- Productivity and workflow tools (Microsoft 365)
- Exposure to system design principles (user-centered systems, prototypes, evaluation cycles)
Current Approach
I tend to approach problems by first understanding the structure behind them rather than focusing on individual tasks. I look for inefficiencies in workflows, especially where people rely on manual workarounds or where systems create unnecessary friction. My goal in any system is to reduce confusion, improve flow, and make processes more intuitive for the people using them.
